About Us
The Airport of Kapan opened in 1972, but the operation of the Airport was stopped in the 90s. As a result of prolonged inactivity, the Airport had lost all operational characteristics and was unfit for operation. "Syunik Airport" LLC was established in May 2017 and the reconstruction of the airport started from that moment. On November 19, 2020, the airport received an aerodrome operation certificate by the Civil Aviation Committee.

PASSENGER GUIDE
The passenger who has already passed check-in goes through
screening with the hand baggage. Explosive, inflammable substances/items (such as fireworks,
pyrotechnic mixtures (explosive and incendiary mixtures, flares, rockets), (explosives)) are
forbidden to be transported in Checked Baggage. Firearm and combat items (ex. bullet, gun, rifle,
gunpowder, weapon parts, any replica of weapon, shock device, tear gas)
